Mr. Hijjawi is the Chairman of the Hijjawi Foundation, one of the largest not for profit vocational skill development programs in the MEA region helping well over 7,000 students. Mr. Hijjawi has significant experience in developing and managing well over twenty companies in the Middle East and Africa, mainly in the domain of Telecommunications and Consumer Electronics Development and Manufacturing. Mr. Hijjawi served as an economic adviser to HM King Abdallah of Jordan on a specific task of “three quick fixes for the Jordanian Economy” in 2001. Within his experience Mr. Hijjawi participated actively in developing the Egyptian Telecom Infrastructure, expanded the Telephone network from one million subs to over ten million subs in a span of seven years. He was responsible for the full development and manufacturing of the first Arab Mobile. He has a good experience in IPO’s and fund raising for PE and for Not for profit programs. Mr. Hijjawi is a member of the Board of Al-Andalus Trading Company, Kuwait Agriculture Company, ADPRO Communications, Clickology, and a Consultant for Agility Logistics. Mr. Hijjawi also was appointed by the Royal Court of Kingdom of Jordan as a trustee for Jordan University of Science and Technology. And is a Board member of the Hijjawi College in Nablus and Jordan.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Bradley University and his MIM at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
